Fuel cell vehicles

ZBT develops fuel cell systems for automotive applications in cooperation with partners from the automotive industry. Highly efficient electric powertrains with performance, range and refuelling times comparable to conventional powertrains can be realized in battery/fuel cell hybrid configurations. Fuel cells as range extenders for battery electric vehicles enable a compact packaging, a reduced system complexity and a significant cost reduction potential.
