Stacks for automotive applications

ZBT develops compact, liquid cooled fuel cell stacks with hydroformed metallic bipolar plates for automotive applications. The stacks are being designed for hydrogen operation at elevated pressure levels.

  • Active Area: 100 cm² and 300 cm²
  • Cells: up to 180
  • Membrane: polymer membrane, 7 layers, subgasket, dry cathode
  • Bipolar plates: metallic
  • Liquid cooling
  • Power: up to 40 kW (300 cm²); up to 10 kW (100 cm²)
