Manufacturers from the automotive and supplier industry, users such as logistics companies and municipal operations, hydrogen and fuel cell start-ups as well as researchers took part in the first HeavyDuty Congress, informed themselves about current developments and discussed ways to hydrogen-powered logistics.
The presentations and discussions were supplemented by a guided tour of the hydrogen filling station at the hydrogen test field of the HYdrogen and Fuel Cell Center (ZBT) and a small exhibition of hydrogen-powered vehicles ranging from waste collectors and tractor units to public buses.
After the successful premiere, many participants, exhibitors and organizers would like to see a new edition in 2024, so it is not unlikely that there will be another HeavyDuty Congress on hydrogen drives in heavy goods transport next year.
